Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Here’s the rules:
- Get the book you’re currently reading
- Open it to any random page
- Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page (Be courteous of your readers)
- You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
This week’s teaser involves First Drop of Crimson by Jeaniene Frost, the first novel in her Night Huntress World spin-off series, which releases February 9th.
From page 128:
“Nonsense. That’s just how vampires are. If you want something, it has a price, but then it comes back ’round again.”
“You’ve never asked me to pay a price,” she almost whispered.
Spade felt something tighten in him as he stared at her profile. Oh, I want many things from you, Denise. Too many to tell you about right now.
From page 299:
“Wretched unfair, it is,” he remarked. “Of the three of us, I’m the one who’s always collected the rare and unusal, yet you two managed to snag the world’s most usual women.”
Great teasers :o) I’m really looking forward to reading this series!
Nice teasers… I like the attitude in those few lines.

Thank you for the teaser. I can NOT wait for this book to be released. Then I’ll read in all in one sitting. Then I’ll start it again because I read it so fast I think I missed something. Then it will be over much to quickly yet again so I’ll start pinning for the next release. So I’ll re-read the entire series yet again. That will only take a couple of days so I’ll start whining again. It’s a never ending and vicious circle…
Oh wait, in between all that I will visit my book blogs and ramble on and on lol.
Lovely — I can’t wait to read this one.
There was no mercy in his dark gaze. Nothing in his expression except the promise of death to those who’d pissed him off.

Can’t wait to read that one! It’s not tagged, but I’d put money on the fact Ian said the quote from page 299.
