I’ve finally read another Dr. Seuss book that just completely took me by surprised. One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish is filled with more tongue twisters. I never knew that, but whereas Fox in Socks takes on a level of difficulty that even got me tripping up, I can’t say the same for One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish.
We took a look.
We saw a Nook.
On his head he had a hook.
On his hook he had a book.
On his book was “how to cook”.
Whenever I’ve thought about the title for One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, I just assumed it was more of a counting book or working with colors. Okay, so maybe I can’t always judge a book by its cover, but if you’re out there trying to get through Fox in Socks, then I would definitely try One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish first.
