Rebel Prince in a Ghost Town

Have you voted yet for the April New Author Mini-Challenge?  It’s going to be a battle royale, yet I have no clue who will be competing yet.  That’s up to you.  So far, it looks like it could be the Deadline Dames against Fangs, Fur & Fey.  Although, The Biting Edge, Femme Fatales and Something Wicked are not that far behind.  If there’s a site you are cheering for, make sure you go vote and get your friends to vote as well.

Celine Kiernan has unleashed the cover for the third novel in her Moorehawke Trilogy, titled The Rebel Prince, which releases October 18, 2010.

Richelle Mead announced the title to her sixth and final Vampire Academy novel.  We’ll be able to pick up Last Sacrifice on December 14, 2010.

Interviews:

Check out what SciFiGuy found. It’s the cover for the next Morganville Vampire novel by Rachel Caine.  Ghost Town, which releases November 2nd, will be the ninth novel in the series and the first to be released as a hardcover.  SciFiGuy also has the blurb for the book.

Well, it’s not just the classic literature that are getting zombified. Io9 reports that Quirk Books is now adding classic television to their revamping publishing. Night of the Living Trekkies by Kevin David Anderson is a new story telling the tale of what would happen if an undead horde of zombies were to suddenly attack a Star Trek Fanboy convention. I have mixed thoughts on this.

If you’re a poetry fan or know someone who is, Savvy Verse & Wit is looking for a few fellow bloggers for a month long celebration of National Poetry Month.

Contests:

We all knew it was coming and it has finally arrived.  The movie trailer for Eclipse has been making the rounds, but hey, I want to post it as well.  Check it out.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
