Short Story Saturdays!

30 January 2010 Jackie 3

This will be the last Short Story Saturday post at Literary Escapism until March. Alpha Heroes is taking over hosting duties for February, so make sure head over there next week for the next edition.

Back to Short Story Saturday, the idea is very easy…did you recently review a short story or anthology? Then share it. I recently read Kelley Armstrong’s Kat, which can be found in the The Eternal Kiss anthology, edited by Trisha Telep, but what is everyone else reading?

Short Story Saturdays!

Alpha Heroes hosted it during December, but it’s Literary Escapism’s turn to bring you Short Story Saturday. The idea is very easy…did you recently review a short story or anthology? Then share it. I’ll be reviewing Karen Mahoney’s Falling to Ash, which can be found in the The Eternal Kiss anthology, edited by Trisha Telep later today (I must do the grocery shopping first), but I want to see what everyone else is reading.

So…read anything good lately?

Short Story Saturdays

Short Story Saturday MemeHave you ever gotten a really good idea while you’re chatting it up with a friend and then BOOM it just sticks in your head? When I posted the review for Four Dukes and a Devil, Nicola (Alpha Heroes) really got me thinking when she starting talking about a weekly antholopalooza instead of a one month shot. The basic idea is it would be a weekly meme were people could post reviews of short stories (from anthologies or other collections) and then come back to either Alpha Heroes or Literary Escapism and leave a link in a central location. Kind of like a Thursday Thirteen or Sunday Salon.
