Help Name the Newest Monkey!
Yup, you saw that right. I was semi-joking around about this on Facebook a week or so ago, but people seemed to like the idea, so let’s do it. It’s a Name the Baby Contest and Pool.

I may be out of the loop a little, but I really haven’t seen any mention of Sherrilyn Kenyon’s new anthology collection yet. In Other Worlds contains all of Kenyon’s stories that were written while she was with Berkley – Dragonswan, Fire and Ice and Knightly Dreams – and I […]

So yeah, I figured I should probably do one for myself so if people wanted to, they would know who to look for. I’m sure most everyone knows the basics – I’m a stay at home mom with a three year old monkey and one on the way and a husband who humors my obsession with books.
What people are probably not aware of is that I’m one of they shyest people around. Seriously. I’m usually the one in a crowded room, hanging out by the wall, people watching. I have a hard time going up to people and striking up conversations out of the blue. So if you see me, don’t hestitate to approach me. I’m going to try, but I get intimidated really easily. Plus, I’m probably going to be completely awestruck seeing all the different authors around. *grin*
This is, by far, the best book I have read to date. I am sure stand alone, without reading the series in order, it would not have been so high on my list for favorite books, but since I have read the series in order, Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon was […]

Well, I write the New York Times bestselling Accidental Demon Slayer series – The Accidental Demon Slayer, The Dangerous Book for Demon Slayers and A Tale of Two Demon Slayers – which are a bunch of offbeat books about a preschool teacher who finds out she’s a demon slayer and then has to go out and save the world (while figuring out her powers along the way).
As far as me personally, I’m an advertising writer turned novelist and I just love writing. When a story grabs hold of me, it’s a kick to grab my laptop and see where the story leads me.
Based on the recommendation of the November Pick it For Me Challenge on Goodreads, I picked up Annette Curtis Klause’ Blood and Chocolate. Vivian Gandillon relishes the change, the sweet, fierce ache that carries her from girl to wolf. At sixteen, she is beautiful and strong, and all the young […]

Of course. My name is Jennifer Estep, and I write the Elemental Assassin urban fantasy series. The first book in the series, Spider’s Bite, was released in February. Web of Lies, the second book, will be released May 25, and Venom, the third book, will hit shelves on Sept. 28.
I’m also the author of the Bigtime paranormal romance series. The Bigtime books feature sexy superheroes, evil ubervillains, and smart, sassy gals looking for love. Titles in the series are Karma Girl, Hot Mama, and Jinx.
Today, Literary Escapism is excited to welcome Jaime Rush to the floor. Jaime is the author of the fabulous Offspring series and the third novel, The Wish List, was just recently published.
Kristin Montgomery is more than a little shocked when her aunts inform her they’re fairy godmothers. Worse, after dropping that bombshell they hand her a wand and head off on a world cruise. Now Kristin’s uncomplicated life as a CPA in San Diego has disappeared like magic and she not only has to deal with her burgeoning magical powers, but also a reluctant—and distractingly sexy—magical arbiter.
Tennyson Ritter is a historian. A scholar by choice, he is yanked from his studies to act as arbiter for the newly chosen fairy godmother. He doesn’t want to waste his time with a woman who doesn’t know anything about magic or the magical world, but soon the beguiling Kristin draws him away from his books and into her life.
But before Kristin can hone her skills and pass the tests necessary to fully claim her powers, she and Tennyson must work together to defend the world – both magical and human – against those that would claim her powers for their own.
Make sure you stick around to the end as we’re giving away a signed copy (and bookplate) of Touching Darkness to one lucky winner.

I write the Wicked Lovely series which is a folklore-based series of books about traditional Celtic faeries and the humans who encounter them in the modern world. The 1st book, Wicked Lovely, received the RITA for YA from Romance Writers of America, was on the recommended reading list for SFF in Locus, and was re-issued in Germany as an adult novel last year. So, I’m not really sure what my genre is. The 4th book in the series, Radiant Shadows, releases the 20th—the week of RT. In addition to these, I wrote a 3 volume manga series in this world and a variety of short stories. My first adult book, Graveminder, releases in 2011, but I’m not really sure what the genre of it is either. I’m currently just calling everything I write “fiction” or “stories” to avoid figuring out a label.

I write sexy yet heartwarming small town contempories as Toni Blake, and I also write romantic erotica as Lacey Alexander. My next Toni Blake book, SUGAR CREEK, comes out on May 25 and is the 2nd in my Destiny Series. I’m loving this series and am delighted that I’m contracted to write at least six books set in the small town of Destiny. As Lacey, I’ll be starting a new series with my next book, coming out from Penguin/NAL next year. Readers can learn more about “both of me” by visiting www.ToniBlake.com and www.LaceyAlexander.net.
