Hard Bitten Exile

Hard BittenChloe Neill has revealed the cover for her fourth Chicagoland Vampires novel, Hard Bitten. I so can’t wait for this one to be released!

Eileen Wilks has changed the title to her next World of the Lupi novel. Instead of Ghost, we will have Death Magic sometime towards the end of 2011 (hopefully not in 2012).  Wilks will also have a novella in new anthology that will be out November 2011 (there isn’t a title for either yet).   Here’s what she has to say about the story:

This one’s going to be about “baby’s first Christmas”–Cynna & Cullen’s baby, that is–and some unusual teenage delinquents.  Turns out adolescent rebellion crosses species lines just fine.  No title yet, but among other things you’ll find out what the “C” couple named their baby.

Lara Adrian has posted an excerpt for her next Midnight Breeds novel, Taken by Midnight, which will be out September 28th.

Holy Crap…thanks to the awesomeness that is Marta Acosta, I just found out that Lionsgate is offering a bunch of their shows as free views via YouTube!  We’re talking the Dresden Files, Alf and Wildfire.

Nalini Singh has posted the cover blurb for her third Guild Hunter novel, Archangel’s Consort:

Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux and her lover, the lethally beautiful archangel Raphael, have returned home to New York only to face an uncompromising new evil…

A vampire has attacked a girls’ school—the assault one of sheer, vicious madness—and it is only the first act. Rampant bloodlust takes vampire after vampire, threatening to make the streets run with blood. Then Raphael himself begins to show signs of an uncontrolled rage, as inexplicable storms darken the city skyline and the earth itself shudders.

The omens are suddenly terrifyingly clear.

An ancient and malevolent immortal is rising. The violent winds whisper her name: Caliane. She has returned to reclaim her son, Raphael. Only one thing stands in her way: Elena, the consort who must be destroyed…

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
