When Jackie told me I had to come up with a list of recommendations, I was stumped. Not for a lack of recommendations; if anything, I have too many. I’ve practically spent this entire year ranting and raving about J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series. It’s impossible to get me to shut up about Jennifer Estep’s three series: Elemental Assassin, Mythos Academy, and Big Time. Royal Street by Suzanne Johnson, Glitch by Heather Anastasiu and Touch by Jus Accardo were the three 2012 debut books that I went fangirl crazy over. Or I could recommend Shayla Black’s bone-meltingly hot Doomsday Brethren series. Who could forget about how much I love The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting? (I’ve screamed about it often enough, right?)
Yeah, I can totally recommend all those books again. *grin* Instead I’m going to recommend books I absolutely love but I don’t think enough people know about them. But I forced myself to keep this list fairly short because if I recommended every book I loved, well, I’d be here forever. *grin*
[Note: I only named books as either standalones or the first in the series. For the books in series, I am totally recommending you read the entire series. ‘Cause one book is never enough. *grin*]
