Picture Book Contest Winners

To celebrate the Monkey going back to school, I gave away sight different graphic novels – 3 copies of Patricia Brigg’s Moon Called Volume 1, 2 copies of Charlaine Harris’ Grave Sight: Book 1, LA Banks’ Dawn and Darkness: Volume 1, and Jim Butcher’s Storm Front: Volume 1 and Welcome to the Jungle.  The contests were only open for one day and it was fairly easy to enter – simple answer the days question.

Old news right.  Let’s find out who the winners are:

For the copy of LA Banks’ Dawn and Darkness: Volume 1, the question was: Which novel would you love to see turned into a graphic novel (and it can’t already be in the works?

ALAINA who said: Simon R greens nightside (to my knowledge it isnt), ilona andrews’ edge or kate daniels series..nalini singh’s angels or shifters.. so many awesome books i would love to see in graphic novel format!

For the copy of Jim Butcher’s Storm Front: Volume 1, the question was: Will all the new UF/PNR series getting their own graphic novels, which one has turned out the best for you? Got all the characters right or gave you the images you wanted?

KATHYBAUGH who said: I haven’t seen any graphic novels yet, but I love the Dresden Series books, liked the tv series and was sad when it was cancelled, so I would love a chance to check out the Dresden graphic novel.

For the 2 copies of Charlaine Harris’ Grave Sight: Book 1, the question was: Which September release are you looking forward to?

SANDYL who said: I would love to see either Seanan Maquire’s series or Ilona Andrew’s. Faith Hunter’s series would be awesome also.

For the 3 copies of Patricia Brigg’s Moon Called Volume 1, the question was: Who are your favorite PNR/UF couples?

ROGER S who said: Cat & Bones from Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series.

BLACKWOLF who said: Well I love Curran and Kate

JOYCE H (from Book It To Me) who said: Lily and Rule from the Eileen Wilks series; Adam and Mercy; and Faythe and Marc from Rachel Vincent’s Shifters series.
