Barackula

Check out what Amazon is introducing…Author Stores!  It’s still in beta form, so not all authors are listed there (I couldn’t find Keri Arthur or Jeaniene Frost), but they have a lot of the veterans up there (like LK Hamilton and Charlaine Harris).

  • Rachel Vincent, author of the Werecat series, by Bitten by Books – CONTEST ALERT
  • Michael Sheen (Lucien) about Underworld: The Rise of the Lycans, by Daily Telegraph
  • Ed Gathegi, who plays Laurent again in New Moon, by News OK

CONTEST ALERT – Keri Arthur is giving away 2 ARCs of Deadly Desire over at Deadline Dames today.  Where do I sign up?!

Calling all reviewers out there.  That  means you Doug, Nicola, Amber, Tez, and everyone else out there.  Ilona and Gordon Andrews are looking for reviewers for Magic Strikes!!  They’ve gotten their hands on 200 copies and they are taking requests for copies.  You know my name as already been submitted, and it’s not a guarantee that my name will be drawn, but I LOVE Kate Daniels and I can’t wait to read Magic Strikes.  Anyone else with me?

You should see this post over at the Reluctant Leage of Adults by JF Lewis.  It’s a musical called Barackula and it’s all about how Barack Obama just becomes president of Harvard Law Review and the vamps are after him.  There’s a video over there as well, you should really check it out.

A fan of Nalini Singh’s has set up a new fan forum for her Psy-Changeling (and other) novels.  I haven’t had a chance to get over there yet, but if anyone does, let me know what you think.

CONTEST ALERT – You still have time to get into the Yasmine Galenorn contest over at Amberkatze, so make sure you head over there if you haven’t already.

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
