Amazon Witch

Guess what I found over at SciFiGuy’s this weekend. It’s Caitlin Kittredge’s cover for her fourth Nocturne City, Witch Craft.  It’s due to release on September 1st.

Interviews:

Thanks to MTV Splash Page, we now know that there will never be a Dollhouse comic series, as opposed to all the other Whedon shows which have a comic series.  Although, I can kind of see Whedon’s point on why he’s not going to do it:

There won’t be [a comic]. The science fiction of this is much more science. It’s mostly actors, acting differently. It’s not something you need to see drawn.

I haven’t seen it yet (can’t wait to), but this makes sense to me.

CONTEST ALERTS – Gena Showalter is giving away a copy of Jewel of Atlantis.  She’s announcing the winner on Monday, so you better get your name in this weekend.

With vampires and shapeshifters being the prevalent force in Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance novels, I’m always intrigued when I come across something different. Yet again, Lori Devoti has snagged my attention with her new novel Amazon Ink. There isn’t a release date yet, but the blurb has me keeping an eye out for it.  Edited to Add (Thanks Lori!):  The release date for Amazon Ink is May 26th.

CONTEST ALERT – Lynn Viehl is giving her fans a chance to name Richard and Elíane’s book.  I’m not really familiar with her series (yet), so I’m hoping you guys know who she is talking about.  She’s giving everyone until Feb. 13th to suggest a title and the one she choices will win an acknowledgment in the e-book, a signed copy of any of her Darkyn print novels, as well as an advance PDF copy of Richard and Eliane’s story as soon as it’s finished.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
