I have heard some awesome Patricia Briggs news. The next Mercy Thompson novel, after Bone Crossed, will be called Silver Born. I guess she announced the fifth mercy title at the signing in Ann Arbor (thankfully, my cousin was there to hear this news) and it will be out sometime next year. So there’s that news.
There was a little more that came out of the signing last night – mainly the idea that Briggs has been approached by HBO for a series about her Mercy novels. Now, I wasn’t there, so I don’t know how accurate that is, but it sounds like we could be getting a Mercy pilot at some time. If Mercy does end up on HBO, something tells me I’ll have to try and convince the hubby to get it.

CONTEST ALERT – Ann Aguirre is having a massively awesome contest over at her site for the upcoming release of Blue Diablo (the first novel in her Corine Solomon series). She’s giving away prizes worth more than $300, so you should most definitely go check it out.
I guess this pretty much confirms the rumor that the CW will produce a show based on LJ Smith’s Vampire Diaries.
Speaking of vampires on film, Suburban Vampire is showcasing a new indie movie called Thicker Than Water: The Vampire Diaries Part 1. Catherine says it has won a few awards, so it’s one to keep an eye out for.
I’m not really sure who the artist is for the picture at the top, but it is awesome! I would be interested in knowing who it was.
What would I do without you? I had no idea of the possibility of the Vampire Diaries being made into a tv show…I lovvved those books when I was a teen. ;)
oooo this looks like some great vampires on film to me! Thanks for the update!
