Can you introduce yourself to my readers a little?
Ashlyn Chase describes herself as an Almond Joy Bar. A little nutty, a little flaky, but basically sweet, wanting only to give her readers a scrumptious story.
Can you introduce us to the world that you have created?
I’ll be signing my 1st and 2nd books in the Strange Neighbors series as well as some of my Ellora’s Cave books.
Strange Neighbors takes place in an old Boston brownstone turned into an apartment building and it attracts paranormal misfits. It’s a light paranromal as are book 2, The Werewolf Upstairs (just released) and The Vampire Next Door (August, 2011)
Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
This will be my third. Relax and have fun.
Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to?
I’m not on a panel this year. I can’t tell you if I’ll get to any either! Sometimes I’m such a social butterfly I spend the whole time socializing and if I make it to one workshop, I’m lucky.
If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
My name tag will say Ashlyn Chase. You can watch as a handsome caveman escorts me across the stage at the opening night party. I’ll be wearing an Indian sari. The theme of the night’s party is Bollywood. So look for a blonde Indian wearing shimmering silks and jewels. (I can’t wait!)
