This is only one of many fabulous covers that have been popping up. For all the new covers, I’ve added them to the FB album for your viewing pleasure.

Chloe Neill’s Hard Bitten was finally released last week and the reaction it’s been getting doesn’t surprise me in the least.  Chicagoland Vampires is a fabulous series and if anyone has been slacking in picking it up, Heroes and Heartbreakers has a fabulous piece on the series as a whole.  There is that nasty little bit at the end, but for those like me who can’t wait for Drink Deep this November, Chloe Neill has posted the synopsis for Drink Deep.

Clouds are brewing over Cadogan House, and recently turned vampire Merit can’t tell if this is the darkness before the dawn or the calm before the storm. With the city iself in turmoil over paranormals and the state threatening to pass a paranormal registration act, times haven’t been this precarious for vampires since they came out of the closet. If only they could lay low for a bit, and let the mortals calm down.

That’s when the waters of Lake Michigan suddenly turn pitch black-and things really start getting ugly.

Chicago’s mayor insists it’s nothing to worry about, but Merit knows only the darkest magic could have woven a spell powerful enough to change the very fabric of nature. She’ll have to turn to friends old and new to find out who’s behind this, and stop them before it’s too late for vampires and humans alike.

The New Releases page was updated over the weekend and a ton of new titles were added.  As always, if I’m every missing one, please don’t hesitate to add it here. There’s no way I can keep up with all of them.  *grin*

Stumbling Over Chaos has another Misadventure in Stock Photography and even gives us a hint that the star of a future misadventure is alongside our shy guy.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
