Gail Carriger has sold a spin-off series of her Parsol Protectorate world to Orbit Books. The novel, Prudence, will begin the Parasol Protectorate Abroad in 2013 to be followed by Imprudence. In addtion, Little Brown Books for Young Readers will be publishing a YA historical fantasy series that will be set 22 years prior to Soulless. The first novel, Finishing School, currently has no release date.
