Upcoming Guests @ Literary Escapism

I have a full calendar of authors coming to visit Literary Escapism over the next couple of weeks and I wanted to share them with everyone.  Here are the authors stopping by, celebrating the release of their new novel:

Tuesday, March 31 – Kris Saknussemm
Come Meet Kris Saknussemm as he talks about his new novel, Private Midnight, and he gives us some of Noir’s Finest Hours (and Moments Too).  We’ll be giving away 2 copies of Kris’ novel!

Detective Birch Ritter is a man on the edge-of himself. His past is filled with secrets, shadows, guilt, and ghosts. Then a dubious police buddy he hasn’t seen in a year introduces him to a mysterious woman who says her business is shadows. What she knows about what lies between the darkness and the light inside men is more than Ritter may want to find out, and much more than he can resist learning. It’s said that to try to forget is to try to conceal, and concealing evidence is a crime. But maybe revelation is another kind of crime-against nature.

Friday, April 10 – Heather Summerhayes Cariou
Come meet Heather as she talks about her new novel Sixtyfive Roses and siblings on National Siblings Day.

When author Heather Summerhayes Cariou was six years old, she promised to die with her little sister Pamela, who’d been diagnosed with what Pam called “Sixtyfive Roses” – Cystic Fibrosis. Pam defied the limits of a dire prognosis, and in doing so taught Heather how to live. Together they discovered where to find joy and meaning in an often painful and uncertain world. Their faith was shaken at every turn, but never lost. This beautifully written memoir offers an unsparing eyewitness account of the pain, hope, and valor of a family in crisis as it falls apart and pulls itself together again and again, only to emerge stronger and more loving.

Tuesday, April 14 – John Marco
Come help me welcome back John Marco as we celebrate his new novel Starfinder!!

Steam trains and electricity are rapidly changing the world. Moth of Calio is obsessed with the airships developed by his friend Fiona’s grandfather Rendor, and dreams of taking to the air one day like his heroes, the Skyknights.

But not everyone is happy to see humans reach the skies. For thousands of years, the mysterious and powerful race known as the Skylords have jealously guarded their heavenly domain. But Moth and Fiona are about to breach the magical boundary between the world of humans and the world of the Skylords.

About Jackie 3282 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
