For the third year in a row, I’m participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K Walk with my mom’s group and while I’ve been going through and purging the house (I’m a minimalist and I have too much stuff, It’s driving me crazy), I’ve come across a few gems. So I had a crazy idea. I’ve been given a fundraising page for the race. I have a couple of sweet books that need new homes and I just can’t justify giving them to the library. Well, I probably could, but I think you guys might want a chance at them first. They’re kind of signed. *grin* So why not help me get rid of some novels, while raising money for a great cause?
Don’t worry, I have no delusions about raising a ton of money, but every little bit helps. So in order to entice you to part with a dollar or two, I have these fabulous signed novels that I’m going to be giving away:
- The first four novels in Richelle Mead’s Georgina Kincaid series: Succubus Blues, Succubus on Top, Succubus Dreams and Succubus Heat
- Retribution by Sherrilyn Kenyon
- Enthralled: Paranormal Diversions anthology signed by Melissa Marr, Kelley Armstrong, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Simone Elkeles, Carrie Ryan, Melissa de la Cruz and Rachel Caine.
All of these novels are brand new (albeit sitting on my shelves for a bit) and signed by the authors. In order to get a chance to win one of them, all you have to do is donate $1 by going to my fundraising page. So this is a shameless plug, but it’s for a good cause and you can use the donation as a tax credit (and trust me, all those little donations can really add up). For every dollar a person donates, that’s how many entries you’ll receive: $1 = 1 entry, $10 = 10 entries, etc etc. To get your donation to count, you must email me a copy of your donation confirmation (jackie at literaryescapism dot com, minus all the things I don’t need to know), using the subject line LE KOMEN CONTEST, and that’s it. A great cause gets some help and you get the chance to win a fabulous novel.
The contest will run from now to midnight on May 16th.
Even though I’m not giving the additional entries any more, you can still help support these authors and the cause by sharing this contest on your blog, Twitter, Facebook, or anywhere you can.
Good cause. I gave!
