Can you introduce yourself to my readers a little?
Welp, in between a challenging job and parenting two awesome kids and reading whenever I can, I blog about romance and UF novels. I have to admit that my blog has been coming in last place in priorities lately, so I’m hoping that the trip to RT will be the shot in the arm I need to get back into it.

Can you introduce us to the world that you have created?
Alpha Heroes is a “boutique” blog — I’m the only writer/reviewer other than a very occasional guest post. I love genre romance and thanks to Jackie’s influence (among others) I’ve got a heaping dose of Urban Fantasy in there too.
My posts are a little like me — I can lean a bit serious and bit goody-two shoes — I really hate writing negative reviews so I’m more likely to just not review a book I didn’t like. So I don’t do a lot of memes or cover art posts; I tend to focus on the books and the words and the stories and characters. When I do try for humor, it’s usually not at the author’s expense; that kind of makes me uncomfortable.
Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
This is my first time at RT! But Chicago is a bit of an old stomping ground for me. I haven’t lived there for a long time, but I spent most of the 90s in the Chicago ‘burbs. (In fact, I spent a rather memorable NYE at the very Hyatt the convention is in. Fortunately that was before cell-phone photos.)
Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to?
I will probably mostly follow the Reader panels, as I am one of those rare bloggers who actually harbors no ambitions of ever writing a novel. Several of the Social Media panels look really interesting too.
If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
Aww, heck, I dunno. I’ll be in comfortable shoes and carrying a lot of books… but if you seriously want to meet up, ping me on email for my cell phone number.
