New Twilight

A new teaser bit for Twilight is out. It has some scenes that have been out before as well as an annoying overlay of some guy from Entertainment Tonight talking, but it does show some new scenes.

The interview scene is kind of slow at the moment, but there are a ton of contests going on right now:

  • Marta Acosta is giving away a copy of Jim Butcher’s audio book Storm Front narrated by James Marsters. The contest ends tonight, so get over there if you want in.
  • Next week Marta will be staring a contest for one of Colleen Gleason’s The Gardella Vampire Chronicles over at Vampire Wire. The winner is going to be able to pick which book, so keep a lookout for that one.
  • Patricia Altner is giving away a copy of Jim Butcher’s Small Favor. The contest ends on July 31st.
  • MentatJack is giving away copies of Blood Engines and Poison Sleep, from the Marla Mason series by T.A. Pratt.
  • Amberkatze still has her contest going where she’s giving away a copy of Angie Fox’s The Accidental Demon Slayer. There is also an interview with Angie Fox, so well worth going over and checking it out. The contest ends July 20th.
  • Sidhe Vicious is still running a contest for Jeri Smith-Ready’s Wicked Game. If you haven’t checked out this book yet, you need to. You can read a copy of my review here. The contest ends July 30th.
  • Bitten by Books is having a contest where the prize is a $20 Amazon Giftcard. All you have to do is check out Ann Corey’s post and ask a question. The contest ends on July 20th.

That’s it for now. I just finished reading Lynda Hilburn’s The Vampire Shrink, so keep an eye open for that review.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
