Check out the cover Angie Fox, Katie MacAlister, Marianne Mancusi and Lisa Cach’s anthology, My Zombie Valentine, which comes out January 2010. It sounds like it’s going to be a great collection and Something Wicked has more of the info on it. To see more on the stories, check out the Zombie Love post.

And I have a winner to announce for a signed novel off of Shiloh Walker’s backlist. Can I say…HOLY COW!!! There were a ton of people who stopped by and entered the contest. I think this has to be one of the biggest responses I’ve had here. Well, without further ado, the winner of the Shiloh Walker contest is….Caffey!!! Congratulations Caffey!
If you’ve ever wanted to read Night Shift by Lilith Saintcrow, now you have the chance. The Hachette Book Group has included Night Shift in their Open Book program, but I’m not sure how long it’ll stay up there.
Check out this gorgeous cover for Wicked Enchantment, a new novel by Anya Bast. It looks to be the beginning of her new Dark Magick series and with the end of her Elemental Magick series, I so can’t wait for this to come out in January 2010.
When you’re a half incubus, your reputation precedes you…
All eyes are on Gabriel Mac Braire the day he makes his first appearance in the Seelie Court, including those of Aislinn Finvarra. Despite deep bitterness over her last failed relationship, Aislinn cannot help but be curious about the half incubus who is known to possess dark magick, both lethal and sexual in nature. Rumors abound of the women who have become enslaved to his irresistible charms.
So when the Summer Queen of the fae orders Aislinn herself to act as his guide in the court, she is understandably on guard. She’s fallen under the spell of far less persuasive men before. In addition, Gabriel might be more than he seems and his true mission is far from innocent.
This time, Aislinn must protect not only her heart, but her very life…

This got me thinking about incubuses…incubi?…no, dictionary.com says incubuses… If you are half incubus, as in your parent was an incubus, so you are the product of their illicit sexual nocturnal activity, is that unique? I mean, incubuses have lots of sex, right? So are there lots of half incubuses running around? You would think that if that was the case, there would have been a word for them. Is there pressure for a daughter half incubus to follow in her mother’s footsteps? Are boy half incubuses shunned by the all-female incubus community?
Also, how can she possibly stay in that tank top?
Apparently, I’m just going to have to wait to find out, unless anyone has any inside incubal information they can tell me.
Congrats to Caffy!
I think i’ve seen this somewhere before…but it’s not bad at all
Whew, I’m on from the storms all day and night here. Scary stuff, but we are fine. I’m so thrilled to win Shiloh! Thats fab on the huge turnout! Congrats too! I love visiting here! Thanks bunches!
When I saw the subject I was thinking ‘horror’ but sounds so much that its not! (I hate horror, I’m a wimp, but give me vamps and the like anytime!) I’m really curious about this one!! I can’t imagine seeing ‘zombies’ in the positive light, always seen them in the background and the villains. Thanks on the interviews! I always love to see whats coming up!
I love Anya’s books so thrilled there will be a new series! Incubus! Neat
Happy Friday!
