Rediscover Lost Loves Mini Reading Challenge + Contest!

DPFrancis-Crimson WindI’ve been getting my reading groove back by branching out again with my reading. To continue that trend, this month I’m challenging myself to rediscover at least 3 of the fabulous series I’ve read in the past. Here’s the pool I’m working with so far.

Are you out of date as well? What series have you fallen behind on?

In fact, I CHALLENGE YOU to rediscover 2 new series you’ve read in the past this month. Can you do it? Anyone who tries and leaves a link to their review (whether on GoodReads, Amazon, your site, wherever) here in the comments, will be entered to win a random novel from my stack of contest fodder.

NAC.2014.250pxThis reading challenge is brought to you by the New Authors Reading Challenge 2014. You do not have to be a participant, but if you’re not, why not?  I realize the mini-challenge isn’t asking you to read a new author, but we can’t forget about the authors we’ve read either. However, if you’re looking to continue the trend of “new to you” and are all caught up with your favorite series – why not trying a new series by your favorite author? Many of our favorites are stretching their creativity by branching out into YA or other worlds. For instance, have you tried Vicki Pettersson’s Celestial Blues (The Taken), Rachel Vincent’s Unbound (Blood Bound), and/or Chloe Neill’s Dark Elite (Firespell) series? If not, here’s your alternate challenge to Rediscovering Your Lost Loves.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

    • There’s quite a few series I want to get back to, too. How far did you get into the Dresden Files? I really need to get caught up with Kitty too.
