Can you introduce yourself to my readers a little?
I’m Jeffe and I write Fantasy, Fantasy Romance and Erotic Romance.
I can be found at: Website | Facebook | Twitter | Google+ | GoodReads | Amazon
Can you introduce us to the world(s) that you have created?
Any and all? How fun!
Well, there’s Faerie, in my Covenant of Thorns series (Rogue’s Pawn, Rogue’s Possession), which is fairyland, but more like Wes Craven’s Ireland, according to my heroine.
Then there’s the post-apocalyptic world of the Blood Currency series (Feeding the Vampire, Hunting the Siren), where earthquakes have taken the world apart and vampires are flushed out of hiding.
Finally, there’s the Twelve Kingdoms (The Mark of the Tala (May 27, 2014) and The Tears of the Rose (Nov 25, 2014)), the realm of the High King Uorsin that my three High Princesses grow up in – and learn to come of age without.
Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
Wow, I guess I count as a veteran! This is my 5th RT Convention. As for advice – don’t make a schedule. It’s tempting, but you’ll be much happier if you just go to stuff when you feel like going to it. Besides – most of the time you’ll be hanging at the bar anyway. ;-)
Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to or are planning on attending?
I’m not on any panels, but I will be at a bunch of parties. Look for me at the big Kensington anniversary party where I’ll have pre-release copies of Book 1 of my new Twelve Kingdoms fantasy trilogy, The Mark of the Tala, Very excited to give those away!
Is there anything in particular you’re looking forward to or experiencing while in New Orleans?
I love New Orleans. My mom used to live there and I have a book set there. I’m looking forward to hitting all of my favorite places – along with Sazeracs, barbeque shrimp and a trip across the lake. Beignets and chicory coffee at Cafe du Monde is really a must.
If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
Ha! Look for the hat! Seriously, I wear big hats and most anyone can point to me. Come say hi!
The 2014 RT Booklovers Convention will be held in New Orleans on May 13th – 18th at the Marriott hotel on Canal Street in the historic French Quarter. For the full list of attending authors, who will be signing at the Giant Book Fair on May 17th, here they are: All Authors, Young Adult Authors, and New Adult Authors.
Thanks for hosting this interview! (Which I totally forgot I’d done…)
