News Lite

Sorry guys.  I’m bushed and I haven’t even gone through my Google Reader yet.  So there won’t be any news until Monday, but if you can’t wait that long, then make sure you pay attention to SciFiGuy.  He’ll have his Weekend Report before Monday and it always has a bunch of good stuff in it.

Well, I will leave you with the items that are still open as tabs in Firefox right now…

Yasmine Galenorn is guesting posting over at Nalini Singh’s blog.  There’s a contest for a $15 Amazon gift card as well, but I didn’t seen when the contest ends.

Katiebabs has a great post on a new novel…Queen Victoria: Demon Hunter by A. E. Moorat.  You’ll be able to get this new shining jewel on January 5, 2010.

Suburban Vampire has the movie trailer for a new vampire movie I haven’t heard of – Suck!. For some reason, my initial response was meh, but then I saw who was in it – Dave Foley, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, Henry Rollins, Malcolm McDowell, and Moby. Oh yeah, that’s going to be good. Catherine has more info, so head over and check it out.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. I am so giddy over the Volturi pictures. At first I wasn’t too impressed by Dakota Fanning being in New Moon, but after seeing her pictures and Michael Sheen (rowl) I am very pleased.
    It is November yet?
