Oohhh, we have some new pretties today. The first on the list is what has been posted over at Carrie Vaughn’s site. It’s the first chapter for Kitty and the Dead Man’s Hand.
Interviews:
- PJ Hoover, author of The Emerald Tablet, by Writer Musings
- Anna Kendrick, who plays Jessica Stanley in Twilight, by MTV
- Shelly Munro, author of Tea for Two, by JK Coi
- Kayla Perrin, author of Obsession, by JK Coi
Plus, there’s the cover for Rachel Vincent’s Prey. Rachel has an excerpt of Pride up at her discussion group. We also have the cover for Cheyenne McCray’s Demons Not Included. This will be the first book in McCray’s new Night Tracker series and, just by looking at the cover, it looks good so far.
If you’re looking for something new to read, Patricia’s Vampire Notes has a list of new vampire series that she’s recently discovered.
Just as an FYI….The Bookworms Carnival is going to be making a stop at Literary Escapism in December. The topic for my stop is Historical Fiction and I’ll be taking review posts up until Dec. 12th. While historical fiction may be a sub-genre of it’s own, it can also cross over into many different genres as well. There are a lot of paranormal romance novels out there that take place during the Renaissance or Elizabethan periods; you can also find a lot of Chick Lit that has a strong historical feel to it as well. So regardless of your taste in literature, whether you prefer the thrillers to mysteries to outright humor, it’s very possible to find something that can also be considered historical fiction. Here are some links to some previous Bookworms Carnival stops.
Hey! Thanks for mentioning my review over at Writer Musings! I appreciate it!
