This week’s teaser involves Wicked Enchantment by Anya Bast, the first book in her new Dark Magick series, which releases January 5, 2010. I just finished reading it and man was it captivating. I seriously couldn’t put it down.
From page 75:
She’d done it thinking it wouldn’t matter. He was never going to get into her pants, no matter how high he cranked up hte charm. She’d told herself she wasn’t at all atttracted to him – or at least she could control her attraction – and teasing him a little bit would be fun.
The joke had been on her.

Aodh turned and exhaled slowly, trying to gain a handle on his temper. It had always been his Achilles’ heel. He’d done a very good job of keeping his explosive, violent anger in control since the time the Black Tower had been constructed, but this situation with [omitted so as not to spoiler anything] had inflamed it.
