Take a look at what I found on MaryJanice Davidson’s FB fanpage. The title for the next Queen Betsy novel, which will be Undead and Unfinished. I’ll be honest, I haven’t been checking her site since it doesn’t seem to be updated much (and I dislike the new trend in her covers), so I don’t know how long this has been about. What I can say though, this cover looks better than the previous two. Still not my favorite, but at least the model doesn’t look too much like a cheap plastic barbie. For those interested…the first chapter is even posted on her FB page. Undead and Unfinished will be out July 6, 2010.
The Galaxy Express has an amazing collection of 2010 Science Fiction Romance releases.
Correction…KELLY MEDING has announced where she’ll be at for her first author signing. If anyone is in the Newark, DE area, Kelly will be at the Barnes & Noble on January 9th, 2010 at 1:00pm.

Diana Gabaldon announced that she will be on tour in the UK this month to promote the UK release of An Echo in the Bone. She’s going to be there from January 14th through the 20th, so if you can get to London (or one of the other cities), make sure you look her up.
Surburban Vampire has updated her list of vampire movies that are coming out in the next year or two. You can really tell that the vampire craze has been caught by Hollywood just by the sheer number of films coming out.
All Things Urban Fantasy has unveiled the winners for her Urban Fantasy Cover Art Awards 2009.
ScifiGuy’s Weekend Report is up and it’s filled with fabulous news as always. I haven’t heard of Snowbooks before, but Doug has the blurbs for a few of their 2010 books and the covers are amazing. Definitely check it out.

Hi! I’m not going to be in Newark, DE. That’s Kelly Meding! ;-)
You did nearly give me a heart attack somewhere. I thought someone was posing as me, like in Philip Roth’s novel, The Counterlife. LOL
Ahhh….how did I make that mistake?! Sorry Nicole! I didn’t mean to give you a heart attack. :) Don’t ask me how I got the two of you mixed up, I’ll simply blame it on a midnight posting, but I’ll get it fixed.
Aloha there!!
I agree with MJD new book covers… what happened? and the change is rather drastic!!=)
The old covers went well with the humor of the book!!
Also, thank you for the contest info!!
Thanks for the MJD news. The newest covers are seeming a bit plastic.
Oh I dislike the new MJD covers. The thing I don’t get, when MJD first came out and said the publisher was changing her covers, they did it because “her covers were no longer unique and were starting to blend in”. With this new line, I think she blends in even more. The idea of a single female on the cover isn’t new or fresh and I think her marketing department went in the wrong direction. If anything, these new covers have completely turned me off of her novels. I haven’t read a new one since Undead and Unworthy.
The UK MJD covers are better. I will definitely be checking out the contests.
