Wicked Little Pixie is showing off the cover forSaranna DeWylde’s How to Lose a Demon in 10 Days. No word on when it will be released, but the title does remind me a lot of the Kate Hudson flick, How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days. I wonder if there is any correlation.
Check out what is now available for preorder on Amazon – It’s the fourth Sirantha Jax novel, Killbox, by Ann Aguirre. I will so be getting it when it comes out at the end of August. “Honey, I just need to get out of the house for a bit…can you watch the kids?”

The League of Reluctant Adults will be out in force at the RT Booklovers Convention next week and they are aiming to have a lot of fun (and probably mischief too). Check out what they have planned for everyone:
The League of Reluctant Adults, a sinister cabal of paranormal romance and urban fantasy authors who occasionally blog, make filthy jokes and prowl the halls of conventions with switchblades (or naked wit, which is just as sharp and safe in carry-on luggage), are converging on the Romantic Times Booklover’s Convention in Columbus bearing gifts!
This year, the League is offering RT attendees the chance to travel the world of wit and repartee with the limited edition Passport to Snark! Get your passport and snark-hunting badge ribbon from Club RT on either Thursday at 11:00 AM or Friday at 11:00 AM and stalk your prey! Errr… authors. Collect your visa stamp, sticker of snark, or just some dirty joke from each attending Leaguer to complete your world tour of crass humor before RT is over for another year. It’s like Pokemon with pointed language: gotta get ’em all. Fully-stamped passports win their bearers a nifty-ass ribbon and the right to tell the world, they can match wits with the best. We’re also giving away books and junk, so, c’mon.
This year’s attending Reluctant Adults: Mario Acevedo, Michele Bardsley, Dakota Cassidy, Carolyn Crane, Mark Henry, Stacia Kane, Jackie Kessler, Caitlin Kittredge, Richelle Mead, Nicole Peeler, Kat Richardson, Michelle Rowen, Diana Rowland, Jeanne C. Stein, and Jaye Wells.

Ziggy Swift/Kim Harrison Contest Winner
I also need to post the winner for the Ziggy Swift interview, which included a signed copy of Kim Harrison’s Dead Witch Walking. All anyone had to do to enter the contest was Ask Ziggy a Question. Now, without further ado, the winner is:
ROBIN K said:, who asked: Hi Ziggy,
You sound…er… interesting. My question is: Can you describe the land you live in? Are you a character in a book or movie?
Oh and Team Edward or Team Jacob?.
Congratulations Robin!. Please contact me at myjaxon AT gmail DOT com with your snail mail info and I’ll get your prize sent out to you.
Oh Wow! Thank you so much. I just emailed. I love your recap posts.
Hey Jackie, release is November 2010 ;)
Yippee! It was so cool to log on and see my name. You totally made my day. We writer types are easily pleased. *g* At least, this one is.
Demon will be made available the first week in November.
Since you asked if it was like the Kate Hudson movie, would it be spammy if I posted the jacket copy? :)
Nat – Did you mention a release date in your post? I had to get the information from somewhere *grin* Thanks!
Saranna – It would definitely not be spammy to post it…email me the jacket copy and I’ll throw it up in one of my Sunday Surprises.
Oh and congrats to Robin!
