Jeri Smith-Ready’s new novel, Wicked Game, was officially released today. I was lucky enough to win an ARC and found it to be a really new twist to vampires and their need for “lifeblood”. In relation to the book, today was also the release date for the site of WVMP Radio, the radio station where everything takes place in Wicked Game. At the site, you can read profiles on all of the DJs from the novel as well as hear their play lists.
And for those of you who read the novel and wonder if there will be a sequel, never fear, it was announced that Bad to the Bone, will be released May 1, 2009 which will continue the series.
This is a good novel to pick up and enjoy, so go out and buy it. If you’re still waffling about getting it, know that every copy sold, a portion is donated to VH1’s Save the Music. What more incentive do you need?
My copy arrived…now I have to decide if I can read it on holiday…will I have enough room in m suitcase to bring it back with me???
