Can you introduce yourself to my readers a little?
I’m Jenna Black, and I write paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and young adult books.
I can be found at: website | Deadline Dames | Facebook | Twitter
Can you introduce us to the world that you have created?
My currently ongoing series is the Descendant series (urban fantasy, Dark Descendant), which features private investigator Nikki Glass, who finds out she’s a descendant of the Greek goddess Artemis and gets swept up into a world she never knew existed. Many descendants of the ancient gods walk the earth today, and she finds herself highly sought after by two warring factions who both want to use her supernatural hunting abilities for their own purposes. Next year, I’ll be debuting a new YA series, starting with REPLICA, but I can’t share a whole lot of details at this moment.
Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
I guess I’d have to say I’m a veteran. This will be RT #5 or 6 for me (I’ve lost count!)
Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to?
I’ll be on a panel called “The Kids are Alright”: Adult to YA on Wednesday from 3:30-4:30. I’ll also be doing speed dating on Teen Day (Saturday) from 2:30-3:30.
If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
The best place to find me is usually at the bar (which I always find funny to say, considering I don’t drink). Your other best bet is either in the audience at a YA or urban fantasy panel, or anywhere there’s coffee.
