Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
VETERAN! I go every year and have a fabulous time. I’m an extrovert, so that helps. I tend to give away a ton of swag, hang out with everyone I meet (because I just like to gab), and in general have a week-long party! As for advice – pace yourself. When you get tired—take a nap! We’ll be there having fun when you get back!
Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to?
I’m speaking on a ton of things, pre-con and panels, and more. But the BIG EVENT is the Jade Lee 50th Birthday Party Roast on Saturday afternoon 5 – 6. (You wouldn’t believe the number of friends who volunteered to roast me!) I’ve got 4 fabulous speakers who are also my best friends (so yes, they have the dirt on me), will be giving away great prizes, and generally having an awesome time. Come hear my best friends stick it to me! Oh, speakers will be me (denying EVERYTHING!), Kim Killion, Cindy Dees, Damon Suede, and Elizabeth Hoyt.
