Can you introduce yourself to my readers a little?

Can you introduce us to the world that you have created?
Vampire Empire is a love story filled with high adventure. It is set in a steampunk alternate history where vampires conquered and destroyed the industrial world, enslaving the humans for food, while free human society is confined to the tropics. Princess Adele is the betrothed heir to the Equatorian Empire. She is brave and idealistic. The story begins when Adele’s air convoy is attacked by vampires. She is taken prisoner into the brutal world of the vampire clans of the north. The legendary vampire hunter called The Greyfriar comes to her aid, and together, they must fight their way home. Their love must overcome great obstacles as their world barrels toward war and utter annihilation of the two dominant species.
Will this be your first RT or are you a veteran? Any advice for those who are going for the first time?
This will be our second RT. We are not noobs, but certainly not experts either. However, the conference is a whirlwind of excitement and it can be overwhelming. Make sure you have a plan of attack ahead of time. Know your primary objectives and make sure to allocate time to achieve them. It is all too easy to get distracted and lose track of what you want to do.
Are you speaking on any panels during RT? Are there any you are looking forward to?
We are on several panels and attending a few events.
Steampunk: Sojourn – Wed. 2:30-3:30
Vampire: Blood Light – Wed. 5-6
Comics: The Creators Share Secrets – Thurs. 11:15-12:15
E-Book/Graphic Expo – Thurs. 4-6
Giant Book Fair – Sat. 11-2
We will also schedule a time or two at Club RT, but we haven’t nailed that down yet.
If someone were wanting to meet up with you at RT, who should they look for?
Look for the people in the picture. We love to talk to readers, so please stop and talk. That’s the whole point of RT.
