Some exciting news for the epic fantasy fans out there. Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth series is making it’s way to television. The show is going to be called Legend of the Seeker and will air on November 1st.
Now I bet you’re wondering who is behind this project. Well, I am excited to say it’s the producers behind Hercules and Xena, aka the genius of Sam Raimi. His name alone makes me want to see it. Plus, according to IMDB, Terry Goodkind is the only writer credited for the show, so if he’s involved that much, then it’s got to be sticking pretty close to the original story. Bridget Regan is playing the role of Kahlan and Craig Horner is playing Richard, plus there are a bunch of other actors, while not well known, they have been involved in some good projects before. I don’t have that much information on it yet, but I know I’m going to be keeping an eye out for it.
