It’s Weekly Geeks time again and we’re continuing our theme from last week. Dewey (with some help from Renay and myself) is in the process of compiling a list of the Top 10 Books from 2008. I’ve already compliled my list, but we’re looking for what you consider to be the Top 10 from 2008.
Here’s what you have to do. Write up a post giving us your list and then go back to the original Weekly Geeks #19 post and leave your link in Mr. Linky. To make it even more enticing, Dewey is putting up another box of 11 books from Hachette to any blogger who creates a list and adds it to Mr. Linky at the Weekly Geeks #19.
On a side note, Dewey also has two other contests running at the moment: one that’s open until the 6th and one that’s open until the 8th.
So if you haven’t made a list yet, then what are you waiting for? Any books published in 2008 are eligible, regardless of which country you live in. I know there is still 3 months left of 2008, but if you know there is a book coming out between now and Dec. 31st, then it’s still eligible. I know on my list, I have two books that will be released in November and December that I haven’t read yet, but I can’t wait to get my hands on them, hence the reason they are on the list. Speaking of lists, just to recap, here are my top 10 for 2008 (I do have some Honorable Mentions at the original post)…
- At Grave’s End by Jeaniene Frost (Dec. 30, 2008)
- Blood Noir by Laurell K. Hamilton (May 27, 2008)
- Swallowing Darkness by LK Hamilton (Nov. 4, 2008)
- Magic Burns by Ilona Andrews (Apr. 1, 2008)
- One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost (Apr. 29, 2008)
- The Darkest Kiss by Keri Arthur (Apr. 29, 2008)
- From Dead to Worse by Charlaine Harris (May 6, 2008)
- The Devil You Know by Jenna Black (Jul. 16, 2008)
- Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon (Aug. 5, 2008)

Here are some other Top 10 Lists:
I haven’t read any of the books on your list, but the titles are interesting enough to make me want to check them out!
Thanks for mentioning my list!
I can’t wait to read Swallowing Darkness. I loved Cry Wolf, Blood Noir, and From Dead to Worse.
