Stanislaski Giveaway

My husband, Jesse, and I are celebrating our 5th anniversary today.   It’s hard to imagine that we’ve been together for 5 years, but that’s not including the 4 years we were together prior to the wedding.  We have been with each other for 9 years and that’s pretty much close to exact.  We started dating on Oct. 14th, 1999 and we’ve been at each other’s side, and pretty much inseparable, since.

With all the sentimentality going on in my head about HEAs and romance in general, I feel the need to celebrate life and marriage with a semi-huge giveaway. No one can do a HEA better than Nora Roberts and I just happen to have my hands on a complete set of her Stanislaski series, so I’m going to give them all away to one lucky reader. I will be honest, these novels are gently used, but still in great condition.

Since there are a total of 8 stories within 5 novels being given away, I want to make sure everyone has a chance to enter this contest, so it’s going to run for five weeks – one week for every year I’ve been married. All entries must be in by midnight on Nov. 15th. I’ll determine the winner with help from the Research Randomizer.

In order to enter the contest, all you have to do is answer this one simple question…What’s your favorite romance novel and/or HEA ending?

As always, if you want more chances to win, post about today’s contest on your blog, social network, or anywhere you can. Digg it, stumble it, share it with the world. Wherever you share it, make sure you add a link to it along with your answer.

If you want a peak at the novels, here they are:

The Stanislaski Sisters

Taming Natasha
The first time single-father Spence Kimball set eyes on Natasha Stanislaski, he was floored by her exotic beauty. But the former ballet dancer turned toy shop owner had a fiery temperament that kept men safely at bay. Sensing a hidden wound, Spence and his little girl joined forces to find a way into her closely guarded heart. For Spence realized he’d do anything to tame Natasha’s fears…and show her how to love.

Falling for Rachel
Landlocked in Manhattan, rugged seaman Zack Muldoon needed a tough, no-nonsense lawyer to save his kid brother’s delinquent hide. Public defender Rachel Stanislaski was not what he had in mind—until he discovered there was a lot more to the beautiful, coolheaded attorney than met the eye…and found himself falling for her, hook, line and sinker

The Stanislaski Brothers

Luring a Lady
Nothing in Sydney Hayward’s background of wealth and privilege prepared her to take the helm of her family’s corporation, and her new responsibilities left no room for complications. Mikhail Stanislaski was definitely a complication. Earthy and entirely masculine, Mikhail came from a world utterly different from her own. But the way she felt when he put his strong, work-hardened hands on her was wreaking havoc with Sydney’s resolve.

Convincing Alex
When Alex Stanislaski mistakenly arrested daringly bold soap-opera writer Bess McKnee for soliciting, she decided the sexy detective was absolutely perfect—for her research and for herself. Now all she had to do was convince him she was right.…

Waiting For Nick

Frederica Kimball had been waiting all her life…waiting to grow up…waiting forever for the day when Nicholas LeBeck would fall as desperately in love with her as she had always been with him.

Nick didn’t know what had hit him. Sweet, adorable Freddie, whom he’d always loved like a kid sister, was suddenly all woman. And his feelings for her were anything but brotherly!

Considering Kate

Kate Stanislaski Kimball had turned her back on glamour and fame, and she’d come home to begin a new life. The only thing more perfect than the beautiful—dilapidated—building she’d bought for her new dance school was Brody O’Connell, the frustrating and surprisingly fascinating contractor she’d hired for the renovation.

But Brody was determined to resist Kate’s effortless allure. She was Natasha Stanislaski’s pampered, perfect daughter, after all. Still, every fiber of his being longed to make her his.…

Reflections and Dreams

Reflections
A lifetime of dedication to dance left Lindsay Dunne little time for romance. That is until she meets brooding architect Seth Bannion, the guardian of a talented young ballerina in Lindsay’s class. As Lindsay and Seth clash over their hopes for the girl’s future, passions flare…and Lindsay receives a crash course in the art of love.

Dance of Dreams
Prima ballerina Ruth Bannion has always been in awe of her demanding, mercurial mentor Nickolai Davidov. But when they are partnered in a sensual new ballet, they must fight hard to control the rising attraction between them. In the end, though, it is up to Ruth to teach the guarded Nickolai the tender dance of love.

This series is currently being re-released with new covers and separated a little differently. Here’s the new trade paperbacks of the Stanislaski series:

  1. Taming Natasha & Luring A Lady
  2. Falling for Rachel / Convincing Alex
  3. Waiting for Nick / Considering Kate

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. What a wonderful thing! Congrats on your anniversary! I’d love to be entered – there is a big hole where my Nora Roberts reading should be, and I’ve always wanted to read more by her.

  2. Best wishes for your anniversary! Who doesn’t love Nora?! So count me in.

My favorite romance novel also happens to have my all-time favorite HEA and that’s none other than Austen’s evergreen “Pride and Prejudice”. Elizabeth and Darcy make a magnificent couple and their to-be or not-to-be romance holds me fascinated even after countless readings.

    Thanks for this great giveaway!
