Something New at LE: Guest Posts

Okay, I need some help from my readers.  Over the past couple of months, I’ve been slowly adding new features to Literary Escapism.  I first started with interviews a couple of months ago (and I know they are slow, but I’m kind of shy when it comes to asking people I really don’t know if they would be willing to do something, so I’m working on it) and now I’m going to start posting some author guest posts.  I’ve already contacted a few authors and have had a pretty good response to them.  However, I’ve been asked for suggestions on topics that my readers would be interested in and I’m not sure how to respond.

So I’m putting out an S.O.S. and asking all of you for your opinion.  What do you want to know?  What kind of topics would interest you?

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. How does a writer deal with living in both the real world (job, kids, husband), and her imaginary world at the same time? Does she/he experience any conflicts, or is the writer able to keep the two separate?

  2. I’m really interested in writer’s processes for writing novels, whether they use outlines, whether they write when the mood hits or everyday, whether they use a certain pen or just the computer, quirky stuff like that.
