Immortal Troupe

Bennett-TroupeJeri Smith-Ready has posted the first chapter to the final WVMP Vampire series, Let It Bleed.  Chapter two will be posted next week.

Paranormality has posted an excerpt for Nancy Gideon’s Bound by Midnight, which releases today.

Joey W. Hill has posted an excerpt to her upcoming novel Bound by the Vampire Queen, which releases December 6th.

These are only a few of the fabulous covers that have been popping up lately. For all the new covers, I’ve added them to the FB album for your viewing pleasure.

Author Appearances:

LHendrix-Immortal DefenderWith Hollywood’s obsession with fairy tales, I have to agree with Kelly Faircloth from io9 – there are more than the 5 fairy tales that are constantly being made.

Richelle Mead is curious to see if Bloodlines can get 10,000 or more preorders in one week.  If so, she’s promised to post the original first chapter to Bloodlines and any Vampire Academy fan is going to want to read this:

Bloodlines was going to be written in third POV, from every main character’s perspective. And who was originally going to kick the book off? Adrian, of course. Now, there’s a lot of Adrian wit and wisdom in Bloodlines as it is, but this “lost” first chapter was in his point of view, putting us right inside his thoughts (scary…but kind of enticing too, huh?). This chapter also covers things that were cut from Bloodlines, so it really is new material–not just a rehashing of what Sydney’s told us. It bridges the gap between the two series.

Jackie from Bitten by Books has another fabulous Off the Fang and this time she’s talking about a couple of her favorite cover models.

Are you ready for all the fabulous August releases which will start to come out  next week?  If not, Tez Says is showcasing what you can expect to find.

I always love hearing what people’s favorite UF series are and I get more of that fabulous since Wicked Little Pixie is doing the inquiring this time.  Mmm…I need to get reading because WLP has some on her list that I haven’t read yet.

About Jackie 3273 Articles
I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.
