Nalini Singh has a blurb up for the next Psy-Changeling novel, Branded by Fire. Check it out:
Though DarkRiver sentinel Mercy is feeling the pressure to mate, she savagely resists when Riley Kincaid, a lieutenant from the SnowDancer pack, tries to possess her. The problem is not simply that he pushes her buttons; the problem is that he’s a wolf, she’s a cat, and they’re both used to being on top.
But when a brilliant changeling researcher is kidnapped from DarkRiver territory, Mercy and Riley must work together to track the young man—before his shadowy captors decide he’s no longer useful. Along the way, the two dominants may find that submitting to one another uncovers not just a deadly conspiracy, but a passion so raw that it’ll leave them both branded by fire…
Speaking of excerpts, Laurell K Hamilton has added an excerpt for Skin Trade, the next Anita Blake novel, to her website. I’m going to read it after my nap, but I am so excited for this novel to come out in June.

Did you guys see the post I did last night about who’s coming to Literary Escapism over the next month or two? If not, you should check it out. There’s going to be a few contests and not all of them have been confirmed yet.
Check out the new cover for Maria Snyder’s second Glass novel, Sea Glass. It’s so shiny! Sea Glass comes out September 1, 2009.
CONTEST ALERTS
Kelley Armstrong is over at Desert Island Keepers talking about that infamous question, what book would you want on a desert island, and she’s making some very good points. She’s giving away a book off of her backlist, so make sure you head over.
Ann Aguirre is guest blogging over at SciFiChick and she’s giving away a copy of Blue Diablo. The contest is only open until tonight, so you need to get over there now.
Lauren Dane and Megan Hart have gotten together for an awesome contest in celebration of their upcoming novel Taking Care of Business (which I loved.) We’re talking a cash prize, so head over and find out the details. You’ll have to work for it, but cash is always worth it.
Jeri Smith-Ready is giving away another ARC of her new release Bad to the Bone, the sequel to Wicked Game. It’s really easy to enter – just talk about your pets – but be warned, the contest ends at midnight on Sunday.
Aw, thank you for sharing my interview link, Kind One :-) Especially because I’m not bribing you to do so – no contest, thus no pimping gets you an extra entry ;-) So you did it out of your own kindness, and I very much appreciate that! *hugs*
Have a lovely day! :-)
I love these UF news blasts!
I would like to join the New Authors challenge, but couldn’t find where to contact you at. Could you please add me to the list? My direct link for the challenge is:
