There were 13 US/Canada and 13 International contests during December’s Black Friday event and while I’ve already listed the winners for the US/Canada contests, I’ve had a few who didn’t claim their prizes. So I get to draw new names – Yea new winners!
The winners for the International contests were announced here and here; and they have until TONIGHT to email me with their snail mail addy otherwise I’ll be drawing new names for those books as well.
Virtual Virgin by Carole Nelson Douglas
Carole Nelson Douglas was unable to celebrate Black Friday with us, but in her place, she sent along three fabulous copies of Virtual Virgin. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: What would the perfect gift be for a paranormal/supernatural investigator? Now, without further ado, the winner is:
BRENDA D who said: The perfect gift would be her very own crime fighting tough guy Alpha werewolf partner. Werewolves can smell things that normal people can’t. They are very strong and loyal and can fight when necessary and they’re super sweet to look at too! Thanks for the giveaway! Happy Holidays!
Congratulations Brenda D!
Kate Douglas gave us the fabulous story involving Mac and Zianne on Literary Escapism for our Black Friday celebration. While she was here, we gave away a copy of Nightshift. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: What’s your take on Black Friday? Do you brave the crowds? Now, without further ado, the winner is:
ANNA who said: There is NOTHING that I want or need that badly, so I don’t brave the Black Friday crowds. The thought of all those wacko people squeezed into one place, all looking for the same bargains, makes me feel a little sick. And scared. Plus, you have to deal with all the crazy drivers scrambling to get from store to store, and that’s scary too. This year I saw people camping out in front of Best Buy on Wednesday! No sir, not me.
Cynthia Eden gave us the fabulous story Holiday Madness on Literary Escapism for our Black Friday celebration. While she was here, we gave away a copy of Angel of Darkness. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: What other rules might Nicole St. James have for shopping on Black Friday? Now, without further ado, the winner is:
SANDYG265 who said: Avoid lumber yards. You never know when a sharp piece of wood will fall out of a rack.
Terry Spear gave us the fabulous story involving When Wolves Go Holiday Shopping on Literary Escapism for our Black Friday celebration. While she was here, we gave away two copies of Dreaming of the Wolf. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: What would you get for a momma werewolf expecting triplets? Now, without further ado, the winner is:
STACIED who said: I think I would get her a nanny or three to help with the little ones. That or a spa package to help her relax. Thank you for the giveaway!
KRISTINA O who said: I’d get a mama werewolf who’s expecting triplets a giftcard for the nearest baby & toddler shopping center & let her pick & choose what she may or may not need. As for the mama herself I’d definitely go with a spa retreat or something, as well as tell her darling husband to woo her & make her feel special, cause he’s darn lucky that she hasn’t killed him yet
Congratulations StacieD and Kristina O!
Jane Kindred gave us the fabulous story Demons in the Marketplace on Literary Escapism for our Black Friday celebration. While she was here, we gave away a signed ARC of The Fallen Queen. In order to enter, all anyone had to do was answer: Are you a bargain shopper or a misanthropic hermit like me? Now, without further ado, the winner is:
JENN who said: The idea of Black Friday scares the pants off me! The only deals I follow are the ones online. Thanks for a great post!
You have until January 27TH to send me an email at jackie AT literaryescapism DOT com, with the contest you won in the subject line, otherwise I’ll draw a new name when I post the current contest winners.
Yay! I didn’t win anything the first time around. Second time is the charm.
I sent you my address. Thanks!
My apologies. I was one of the unclaimed ones. Turns out my google reader wasn’t updating all the posts so I’ve had a few hundreds “old” posts showing up today alone :( I will be sure to be on top on it next time. Congrats to all the winners!!
