Calling All Book Junkies

One of the members in my paranormal group needs some help.  She’s looking for a book, but she can’t remember the title or the author.  She’s given a pretty good description of the plot, so maybe that might trigger someones memories?  Here’s what she said:

I remember little, but this is what I remember. A 17 year old girl and her brother have just lost their parents and they move into this new house with her godparents. Now she meets this guy(I believe that the author saids that he is a Fae)…he is perfect but he has a claw for a hand. Now he wants her for is bride but she won’t go with him, till she hears that her godparents plan to kill her and her brother, so she goes to him (not her brother, the fae) and tells him she’ll go if she can bring her bother. So the sexy fae takes her and her brother to his underworld where he is king. When they have the ‘wedding’ he cuts her hand and his…and then she gets a snake tattoo to protect her….she can never leave the underworld and she will only have one child witch will be a boy. Now the other past queens were kidnapped so they tired to escapes or kill themselves. But she doesn’t, when the creatures ( the fae in this book are portrayed as a being that has numerous different animal body parts, a mixture of animals) start falling asleep and not waking everybody is worried, but when the king falls asleep its up to to her to save everybody so she leaves…I can’t remember how and finds a crazy guy that is able to pull the spirit of the beings and she releases everyone finds a baby girl that the guy was experimenting on…..then she goes back to the underworld and lives happily after….

So can anyone help her? The book actually sounds interesting.
