Seriously People?

I have had 3 submissions for the Urban Fantasy stop of the Bookworms Carnival.  THREE.  I know there are people out there who have read a UF that has been published since 2000 and I want a link to your review.  The deadline was the 23rd, but I won’t be getting to actually doing the post until the 29th, so send me those review links, you still have time.  It’s really not that hard to submit a review.  There are four different ways I’ll accept a submission:

  • email me – myjaxon AT gmail
  • tweet me – LiteraryEscapis
  • leave a comment here
  • leave a comment on facebook

It’s October, the month for all things spooky and I am going to be shocked if no one is reading any kind of urban fantasy right now.  I know there has to be at least one person reading a UF novel for the R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril IV Challenge. So c’mon, don’t let me down here. Send me your links and let me help drive some traffic to your site.

I am a 30-something SAHM with two adorable boys and a supportive husband who is very tolerant of my reading addiction. I love to read and easily go through about a dozen books a month – well I did before I had kids. Now, not so much. After my first son was born, I began to take my hobby of reviewing a little more serious and started Literary Escapism to help with my sanity. I love to discuss the fabulous novels I’ve read and meeting all the wonderful people in the book blogging community has been amazing.

  1. (Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill) (Barely Bewitched by Kimberly Frost) (Thirst by Christopher Pike) (Would-Be-Witch by Kimberly Frost) (Intertwined by Gena Showalter)

Hi, I wanted to do this before but I often get confused by the UF title. What is PNR, UF, F ect. So if you can use some of these great. I can always use some more traffic on my site. I love the new look, so much cleaner and organized.

  2. OK. Here’s a few reviews for UF that I did for books I liked:

Rosemary and Rue by Seanan McGuire:

Sins & Shadows by Lyn Benedict:

Mark of the Demon by Diana Rowland:

Salt and Silver by Anna Katherine:

    Wicked Game by Jeri Smith-Ready:

    Blue Diablo by Ann Aguirre:

  3. Alright, I have a few…lol

Bleak History by John Shirley –

Soul Catcher by Leigh Bridger –

    Bone Crossed –

I have a bunch of other reviews posted from June – now…but some of them are more PR than UF. Hope that they aren’t too old of posts to use.

  4. Living with the Dead by Kelley Armstrong

    New Moon by Stephenie Meyer

    Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Not sure if these count as they are more mystery than fantasy but there are witches (I suck at figuring out genre)

A Charmed Death by Madelyn Alt

The Trouble with Magic by Madelyn Alt

Hope some of these help you out.
